My Photopath - When, How and Why

I have been documenting travels since 2013.

That's when I bought my first and only Nikon DSLR. That was at a camera fair in Zagreb.

I also own analog cameras, but my Leica camera on my Huawei does wonders.

I know, I shouldn't shoot with a mobile, but it sometimes IS the most efficient way, because everyone carries a mobile phone, and nobody pays much attention. That way I can document on the sly.

So, more often than not, there's no need to carry the digital camera around.

I have been living in Zagreb, Croatia's capital for more than 30 years now.

I guess I can call myself a Zagreb photographer.

A photographer of Zagreb, but not limited to the boundaries of this town.

Parallel to my writing aspirations, photography has always been my evergreen passion. It keeps my eyes wide open to the world.

I have visited many European cities (you'll see them in the City Photography section).

You can view these photographs as mementos. Keepsakes. Visual leftovers from my travels around Europe.

Just looking at these photographs takes me back to the many cities of Europe, all magical and rich with their culture.

Let these photographs inspire you to begin your travels right away—as soon as you set your eyes on them.
